Aqui um texto que tenho no meu HD, que infelizmente acabei ficando sem o Link! Talvez vocês encontrem por aí... A partir de agora, vou postar melhor aqui no blog, em agradecimento aos recentes estímulos da cena!

the PERKYGOTH manifesto
(O Manifesto PerkyGoth)

(Certo! Aqui vamos nós! Parece, que nestes últimos tempos, tem se tornado moda, talvez até * scoff!* requerido dos góticos muito como nós mesmos que eles reflitam sobre a própria com o mais cínico e ..... . Nós, os Perkygoths do mundo, estamos a frente disto, e reclamamos nossa hereditariedade a seguinte!

Right! Here we go! It seems, that in these passing times, it has become fashionable, nay, perhaps even *scoff!* required of goths very much like ourselves that they reflect upon life itself with the most cynical and morose of countenances. We, the Perchygoths of the world, stand in the face of this, and reclaim our heritage as follows!

1 Nós percebemos, e talvez até declaramos publicamente, o simples fato de nosso apreço e gostos decorativos e completamente bobo, ainda em frente desta não prática e algumas vezes até inconveniente natureza das coisas, nós RIMOS! Sim, todas essas saias fazem os meninos mijarem como garotas, mas hey! Isto contribui para um melhor entendimento entre os sexos!

1 » We realize, and perhaps even declare publically, the simple fact our attire and decorative tastes and downright silly, yet in the face of this impractical and sometimes even inconvenient nature of things, we LAUGH! Yes, all those skirts make the boys have to piss like girls, but hey! it contributes toward greater understanding between the sexes!

2 Não existe comportamento “padrão” ou código de qualquer tipo para um membro do tão chamado “underground” (submundo), seus bobinhos! Porque, quem já pensou em alguma coisa tão prepotente? Se eu quero cruzar a pista de dança para ver um amigo, bem malditos todos, eu estou indo! E sobre este sorriso que eu estava usando na última semana no club, sim, era meu! Não, minha mãe não me fez te-lo.

2 » There is no "standard" behaviour or code of any sort for member of the so-called "underground", you silly gits! Why, who ever thought of anything so bleeding preposterous?! If i want to skip across the dance floor to see a friend, well damn it all, i'm going to! And about that smile i was wearing last week at the club, yes, it was mine! No, my mother did not make me wear it!

3 Um, só porque eu pareço um gótico agora não significa que eu vou parecer um gótico amanhã, depois que o choque e horror desta realização passar, você irá notar que é bem divertido injetar um pouco de variedade nas coisas.

3 » Um, just cause i look like a goth right this very instant does not preclude me not looking like a goth sometime tomorrow, after the shock and horror of this realization passes by, you will note that it's actually quite fun to inject a little variety into things.

4 NESTA nota, tampouco nós somos requeridos para ouvir apenas goth, death rock ou darkwave. Nós SOMOS, porém, permitidos á assaltar fisicamente a pessoa ao lado que olhar com um olhar carrancudo para nós para esbofetear este p-funk, hard techno, ou riot grrrl gravado no tocador imediatamente depois de tocar the Sisters (Imagino que quis dizer a banda) ou algo assim.

4 » On that note, neither are we required to listen solely to goth, death rock, or darkwave. We are, however, allowed to physically assault the next person who scowls at us for slapping that p-funk, hard techno, or riot grrrl record on the turntable immediately after playing the sisters or somesuch.

4.5 E enquanto eu estava pensando sobre isto, nós também somos permitidos para (clobber não achei a tradução) qualquer um no club que capriche (?) sobre a discotecagem do dj muito goth e sem death rock o bastante ou alguma desta (ilk? Talvez signifique: laia)

4.5 » And while i'm thinking about it, we're also allowed to clobber anyone at a club who whines about the dj playing too much goth and not enough deathrock or something of that ilk.

5 Mas, há algo que nós NÃO DEVEMOS fazer, sobre quaisquer circunstâncias, é nos gabar de nosso conhecimento sobre os outros. Se há um pecado, queridos Perckygoths, é arrogância e pomposidade. Nó simplemente NÃO DEVEMOS sair e ondiar toda essa informação que nós lemos do bom e velho Senhor Mercer’s guia prático de mão gótico como se nós o conhecessmos inteiro. Porque encare, muitos de nós nem ao menos estivemos lá quando metade desta coisa aconteceu. (Há exceções, claro, mas eles não são permitidos para se gabar de seu conhecimento também, ou eles supoem refletir em uma nostálgica e estranha maneira).

5 » But, if there's one thing we mustn't ever do, under any circumstances, it is lord our knowledge over that of others. If there is a sin, dear Perckygoths, it is self-righteousness and pomposity. We simply mustn't go out and wave all that nifty info we just read out of good old Mr. Mercer's handy-dandy goth guide as if we had known it all along. Cause face it, most of us weren't even there when half of that stuff happenned. (There are exceptions, of course, but they aren't allowed to lord their knowledge either, nor are they suppose to reflect in a nostalgic and whiny manner).

6 Oh! Certo! Devolta ao Perky! Um, pular em poças de lama é perfeitamente aceitável. Dançando e REALIZANDO que você parece como um completo idiot é profundamente encorajado. Continuando á dançar, não importar quantas outras pessoas sejam nada que você parece comom um idiota, é ainda mais encourajado. Lembrem-se crianças, a aparência ou o estilo de vida? O estilo de vida, claro, você é um Percky Goth. Não apenas pareça como um louco, aja como um! É muito mais realizador que ficar fazendo pose no espelho a noite toda.

6 » Oh! Right! Back to Perky! Um, stomping in mud puddles is prefectly acceptable. Dancing and realizing that you look like a complete idiot is heartily encouraged. Continuing to dance, no matter how many other people are also noting that you look like an idiot, is even more heartily encouraged. Remember kids, the look or the lifestyle? The lifestyle, of course, you're a Perkygoth. Don't just look like a looney, act like one! It's much more fufilling than primping in a mirror all night.

7 Um, eu esqueci o resto. Provavelmente nem ao menos pensei nele para começar. Eu prolificamente menti sobre tudo até agora. Uh, estou sendo pago para isto? O que eu estava dizendo?
(Com certeza ele faz uma brincadeira aqui, com o comportamento de brincandeira e talz, do que realmente ele esqueceu. ^^)

7 » Um, i forgot the rest. Probably didn't even think of them to begin with. i've prolly lied about everything so far. Uh, am i getting paid to do this? What was i saying?

(7.5 ) Apenas lembre-se, diversão é seu nome do meio, ou ao menos ele está em algum lugar no seu vocabulário. Não importa o que faça, pense consigo mesmo: “Eu estou me divertido?” Se não, hora de fazer outrar coisa. Uma curta atenção com isto, significa que você não tem TEMPO para ficar chateado e depressivo!

7.5 » Just remember, fun is your middle name, or at least it;s somewhere in your vocabulary. Whatever you're doing, think to yourself: "am i having FUN?" If no, time to do something else. A short attention span means you don't have time to get bored and mope!
